Only a few of the heros who survived 911. They were willing to give their lives so that humans may live..

During the chaos of the 9/11 attacks, where almost 3,000 people died, nearly 100 loyal search and rescue dogs and their brave owners scoured Ground Zero for survivors.

Now, ten years on, just 12 of these heroic canines survive, and they have been commemorated in a touching series of portraits entitled 'Retrieved'.

The dogs worked tirelessly to search for anyone trapped alive in the rubble, along with countless emergency service workers and members of the public.

Traveling across nine states in the U.S. from Texas to Maryland, Dutch photographer Charlotte Dumas, 34, captured the remaining dogs in their twilight years in their homes where they still live with their handlers, a full decade on from 9/11.

Their stories have now been compiled in a book, called Retrieved, which is published on Friday, the tenth anniversary of the attacks.

Noted for her touching portraits of animals, especially dogs, Charlotte wanted 'Retrieved' to mark not only the anniversary of the September 2001 attacks, but also as recognition for some of the first responders and their dogs.

Most of the search and rescue dogs are Labradors or Golden Retrievers and Charlotte feels that the title works across many aspects of the story.

'I found the dogs, I retrieved them, they were there to retrieve the victims, it is nicely rounded,' explained Charlotte whose work is being exhibited at the Julie Saul Gallery NYC opening on September 8, in time for the anniversary.

After working on a project about police canines and other working dogs, she was inspired to concentrate on the animals that played such a huge part in seeking survivors.

Contacting the NYPD, the New York Fire Department and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Charlotte discovered that out of the nearly 100 dogs among the first responders deployed by FEMA, there were in fact only 15 still alive last year.

'Years later at a Remembrance Ceremony, the same fireman recognised Bretagne and her handler and they had a touching reunion.

'It developed that even though the dogs couldn't find people still alive, they could provide comfort for the brave firemen and rescue workers of the emergency services.'

Wishing to tell the other side of heroism from 9/11, each of Charlotte's encounters with dogs such as Gabriel and Orion and Scout stayed with her.

'The dogs are now old and they will soon pass away. Even during the time it has taken since my first work on the 'Retrieved' portraits to now, three of the final 15 have died,' said Charlotte.

'These portraits are about how time passes, and how these dogs and their portraits are offering us a way to deal with the things that happened as well as relying on them for comfort.'

38.9 billion in new spending cuts is really 354 million divided by the half the rate of growth for the next 5 years

By Associated Press

WASHINGTON — A new budget estimate released Wednesday shows that the spending bill negotiated between President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner would produce less than 1 percent of the $38 billion in promised savings by the end of this budget year

The Congressional Budget Office estimate shows that compared with current spending rates the spending bill due for a House vote Thursday would cut federal outlays from non-war accounts by just $352 million through Sept. 30. About $8 billion in immediate cuts to domestic programs and foreign aid are offset by nearly equal increases in defense spending.

When war funding is factored in the legislation would actually increase total federal outlays by $3.3 billion relative to current levels.

To a fair degree, the lack of immediate budget-cutting punch is because the budget year is more than half over and that cuts in new spending authority typically are slow to register on deficit tallies. And Republicans promise that when fully implemented and repeated year after year, the cuts in the measure would reduce the deficit by $315 billion over the coming decade.

Still, the analysis is an early lesson about Washington budgeting for junior lawmakers elected last year on promises to swiftly attack the deficit.

At issue is a concept in budgeting that is often difficult to grasp. Appropriations bills like the pending measure give agencies the authority to spend taxpayers’ money. But such authority typically takes months or years to actually leave the federal Treasury, so cuts made in the middle of the budget year often have little immediate impact.

The budget deficit is projected at $1.6 trillion this year.

The House began preliminary debate on the spending bill Wednesday with it easily advancing over a procedural hurdle by a 241-179 vote. The measure is slated for House and Senate votes Thursday. A stopgap spending measure expires Friday at midnight.

The CBO study confirms that the measure trims $38 billion in new spending authority relative to current levels, but many of the cuts come in slow-spending accounts like water-and-sewer grants that don’t have an immediate deficit impact.

A separate CBO analysis provided to lawmakers but not released publicly says that $5.7 billion in savings claimed by cutting bonuses to states enrolling more children and reducing the amount of money available to subsidize health care cooperatives authorized under the new health care law won’t produce a dime of actual savings. CBO believes they are simply cuts to spending authority that is unlikely to be used anyway.

But those cuts to mandatory benefit programs, while producing no deficit savings, can be claimed under budget rules to pay for spending increases elsewhere in the legislation. All told, $17.8 billion in such savings is claimed but just a tiny portion of it would actually reduce the deficit.

But CBO does credit a move to eliminate year-round Pell Grants with generating more than $40 billion in deficit reduction over the coming decade from both mandatory and appropriated accounts, though just slightly less than $1 billion this year.

Still, the measure halts and begins to reverse large increases for domestic agency operating budgets that have been awarded during Obama’s first two years in office.

“With this bill we not only are arresting that growth but we are reducing actual discretionary spending by a record amount, nearly $40 billion in actual cuts in spending that has not ever been accomplished by this body in its history, in the history of the country,” said House Appropriations Committee Chairman Harold Rogers, R-Ky. “The cuts in this bill exceed anything ever passed by the House.”

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a likely 2012 presidential candidate, said the budget deal has less cuts than advertised. Democratic leaders forced the budget, he said, and “it should be rejected.”

Many Republicans say they wish the measure would cut more but that the cuts negotiated by Boehner are about as good as can be expected giver that Democrats hold the Senate and the White House. In his February budget, Obama pressed a freeze on domestic agency accounts.

“We continue to push this president to places he never said he would go,” said House GOP Whip Kevin McCarthy of California.

“The president said he would freeze spending. Our Speaker negotiated, outnumbered 3-1,” he said, referring to Boehner’s negotiations alone in the oval office with Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. “We have cut spending.”

This should scare you to the bone..House and Senate approve FY 2011 spending bill

The House on Thursday passed a bill reflecting last week's agreement to fund the federal government for the rest of fiscal 2011 by a 260-167 vote in which most Republicans supported it and most Democrats opposed it. The Senate approved the bill hours later by a 81-19 margin.

The White House released a statement from Press Secretary Jay Carney in reaction to the bill's passage.

"As the President said last week, we are pleased that Democrats and Republicans, on behalf of all Americans, were able to reach an agreement to avert a government shutdown by making significant spending cuts while still investing in our future," it reads. "Because of this deal, small businesses will continue to receive loans, families will continue to receive mortgages, and hundreds of thousands of government workers and our military personnel will get their paychecks on time."

Although President Obama helped broker the deal and it came with the support of Democratic leaders in Congress, 108 House Democrats voted against it, with 81 yes votes.

Fifty-nine Republicans voted against the measure, a sign that many conservatives are still disappointed that their leadership was not able to negotiate deeper spending cuts. That's also more than the 54 Republicans who voted against a three-week spending resolution in March over complaints that more dramatic spending reductions were not made.

Members on both sides praised the ability of Congress to come together on an agreement, and both Republicans and Democrats argued in favor of what they called a "flawed" deal.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) agreed that few are happy with the deal, but said little else could be expected given the political split in Congress.

"Is it perfect? No. I'd be the first one to admit that it's flawed," Boehner said. "Well, welcome to divided government."

Boehner said he wishes more cuts could have been achieved, and hinted that more would be coming. "Does it cut enough? No. Do I wish it cut more? Absolutely. And do we need to cut more? Absolutely."

House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) announced that he would vote for the resolution and called on his colleagues to do the same.

"We have a choice to make," Hoyer said. "That choice is whether we will come together, work together, try to make the best possible agreement that we can make and then move together. I think the American public expects us to do that."

This is what your goverment school is promoting..Obama's Office of Safe Schools czar Kevin Jennings. Obama's very, very close gay Friend..

A Facebook page set up to promote homosexuality to children through the "Day of Silence" organized by the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network – which was founded by President Obama's Office of Safe Schools chief Kevin Jennings – has scrubbed its site of links to pornography after several Web-savvy organizations revealed the offending offerings.

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth edited some of the images, placing blocks over strategic parts of the photographs, but they remained largely too revealing for inclusion in a news report.

Learn what a top shrink says is troubling leftists, in "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness!"

The links from the Facebook page also were documented by Linda Harvey of Mission America and the Illinois Family Institute.

"If a conservative or religious group were as reckless as GLSEN in exposing impressionable children to hard-core perversion and pornography, needless to say they'd be out of business and drummed out of the pro-family movement," LaBarbera told WND.

"It is a testament to how the liberal media protects irresponsible 'gay' activists that GLSEN continues to have a huge influence with educators despite its documented record of corrupting children – by exposing them directly to the worst excesses of the homosexual-bisexual-transgender movement," he said.

Harvey explained to WND that she was tipped off by a parent in New York who saw that some of the links on the Facebook page promoting the pro-homosexual "Day of Silence," scheduled for Friday by activist organizations operating in public schools across the nation, linked to homosexual "hookup" websites.

Some of those sites contained images of fully nude individuals.

When the organizations started issuing alerts to their constituents, the links disappeared almost immediately, Harvey said.

"It's not at all a surprise. GLSEN has a long history of recommending age-inappropriate and frankly promiscuous homosexual activity at young age for kids," she said. "Then they cover it with a civil rights, social justice and safe school veneer."

Harvey's alert said, "This offensive page linked from the Day of Silence website page, also sponsored by GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, which indeed has a lot to hide. But thankfully, some technologically savvy pro-family warriors captured the original page in anticipation of this move."

LaBarbera said the linked websites such as "nexgay" featured nudity, personal ads expressing interest in dangerous homosexual practices including anal sodomy, "rimming" and "various sadistic sex fetishes popular in the homosexual male subculture."

GLSEN officials declined to respond to WND inquiries about the links and their removal.

"The GLSEN 'Gay-Straight Alliances' Faebook page was also linked to a 'Gay Trip Thailand' Facebook page with shirtless Thai males – luring men to that notorious sex-tourism destination – as well as a movie about two male lovers that is sponsored by a leading 'gay' pornography video distributor," LaBarbera reported.

"The pornographic links evidently remained posted on the GLSEN-sponsored Facebook page for weeks," he continued. At least one 'photo' ad for the homosexual male hookup site 'nexgay' had been posted on the GLSEN Facebook page since at least January 15, 20011, based on a favorable comment responding to the ad and posted on the GLSEN site that date."

"One of the main ways it does that is through 'Gay-Straight Alliances,' which are de facto pro-homosexual booster clubs and which now exist in thousands of high schools and colleges across the United States."

Obama's Office of Safe Schools czar Kevin Jennings

Now those organizations are being expanded to middle schools, he noted. For example, a San Francisco school district flier on the issue said, "Each year more and more middle school students are coming out: they and their friends need a safe place to share their experiences and ask questions. In all likelihood, there are also students who have parents or family members who are LGBT."

He also noted the situation represents GLSEN's typical efforts in schools and cited previous incidents in which GLSEN was involved, including the Boston "Fistgate" episode in which teens at a sponsored conference were "guided in a 'how-to' discussion … about the grotesque and dangerous sexual-sadistic practice of 'fisting.'"

LaBarbera also cited the GLSEN conference in 2000 in which organizers handed out guides for homosexual bathhouses, "gay" bars and homosexual phone lines.

The organization also is famous for recommending a reading list of books for high schoolers that "include many with overtly sexual themes including one (Rainbow Boys) featuring a sexual encounter between a 17-year-old boy and 29-year-old man he met on the Internet," according to LaBarbera.

Jennings also became the subject of widespread controversy when reports detailed how, as a teacher at a Boston school, Jennings allegedly failed to report to authorities when one of his underage male students confessed he had been seduced by a homosexual man.

In was in the middle of 2009 when WND broke the news of Jennings' federal appointment to oversee "safety" in the nation's public schools after he had boasted of using the same theme to promote homosexuality and other alternative sexual lifestyles to students.

WND reported how Jennings founded the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network, on his influence over a conference for teachers and children that included instruction in various homosexual acts such as "fisting," multiple efforts at the congressional level to have him removed, his responsiveness when a porn publisher asked for his help in writing a book, his financial sponsorship of radical homosexual art and his membership in the sometimes-violent radical Act Up homosexual organization.

The sexually graphic books the Jennings-founded GLSEN recommends for children also have been the subject of reports.

Mass Resistance, a Massachusetts organization that works to counteract the advance of homosexual activism, has investigated Jennings' background and activities and has described how GLSEN has played a key role in plans to "transgendered" schools in Maine.

At the Washington Times, a series of editorials addressed worries over Jennings' influence on children.

"Teaching children sexual techniques is simply not appropriate. Unfortunately, it is part of a consistent pattern by some homosexual activists to promote underage homosexuality while pretending that their mission is simply to promote tolerance for so-called alternative lifestyles," the newspaper said.

"It is outrageous that someone involved in this scandal is being paid by the taxpayers to serve in a high-powered position at the Education Department, of all places. At some point, [Education Secretary Arne] Duncan, Mr. Jennings, Obama administration spokesmen and the president himself are going to have to start answering questions about all this. Refusing to do so won't make the issue go away."

What would Hitler have done with Nukes.. We are about to find..

TEHRAN, Iran -- Iran's foreign minister has confirmed claims by an exiled Iranian opposition group that a factory west of Tehran is manufacturing centrifuge parts.

Ali Akbar Salehi, quoted by the state news agency IRNA, says the facility is no secret and that many other facilities in the country are involved in manufacturing parts for Iran's nuclear program.

Iran has long said it produces centrifuges, which are used to enrich uranium, a process that the U.N. has demanded Tehran halt.

Two days earlier, the exile Mujahedeen-e Khalq group said its spies identified the factory, called the TABA facility.

Iran says it is building a civilian nuclear power program, but the U.S. and its allies suspect it seeks the capacity to build nuclear bombs.

Boycott The Corporate Cair Islam loveing cowards at Marriott

Brigitte Gabriel was good enough to share the latest act of dissimilitude by an American company by capitulating and accommodating CAIR but refusing to serve those of us fighting for America. If the Marriott Corporation wants to operate in America, make money in America, be free to pursue their profits in America, enjoy the freedom of America - then don't stand in the way of the very people putting their asses on the line to make that happen.

Ass kissing, terror loving, America hating Marriott - banish them to France!

Brigitte is one of the Keynote speakers at People's Truth Forum anti terrorism conference along with her colleagues Dr. Harvey Kushner, Robert Spencer and Laura Mansfield.
Sleeping with the enemy at the Marriott, Worldnetdaily.com

The Georgetown Marriott Conference Center rejected a "terrorism" symposium on Marriott 2 the grounds that the sponsoring organization was too controversial and the venue inappropriate for this type of forum. Concurrently, another Marriott Hotel in the Washington area is hosting the Council on American- Islamic Relations' annual conference ・and participating as a panelist at the gala will be an alleged co conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

According to the Georgetown Marriott executives, the decision to reject the event, being hosted by the People's Truth Forum, or PTF, was based upon business considerations: "The event would call for heightened security since protesters might be attracted from both the student body and off campus. These same protesters might block the front entrance leading to confrontations with hotel guests and/or room cancellations." COWARDS!

After researching the matter, the Marriott's corporate office supported the local decision and issued the following statement: <>"Due to the high density of Muslim students on campus, we're afraid of the potential for violent protests, injured employees and damage to the facility."
According to PTF's president, Jeffrey Epstein, "The People's Truth Forum, a fact-based, non-partisan organization, is dedicated to educating Americans on topics of national security. Controversy and resistance is nothing new to us given our commitment to disseminating 'unpopular' truths."

Epstein added: "Although I don't harbor ill feelings toward the Marriott Corporation for their weak-kneed 'business' decision pertaining to the Georgetown property, I am deeply troubled by the realization that a major American corporation could fear reprisal from enemy sympathizers, within our borders, during a time of war. This situation certainly begs the question as to what degree our national security has already been compromised."

He may not harbor ill feelings but as an American engaged in a world war I surely do - Atlas
Today, CAIR will host its 11th Annual Banquet at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va. CAIR is a self-proclaimed Muslim advocacy group that has its roots in the Palestinian Hamas. CAIR's parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine, was founded by Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook. CAIR, itself, has had numerous individuals convicted in and/or deported by the United States for terrorist activity. And CAIR is the defendant in a lawsuit put forward by the family of a lead FBI agent for that agent's murder during the September 11 attacks.

CAIR has advertised on its website that it will be featuring Siraj Wahhaj as one of the speakers at the banquet. Wahhaj, an imam at the At-Taqwa Mosque in Brooklyn, N.Y., is known for having his name on the U.S. attorney's list of potential coconspirators of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Two of the individuals convicted in the bomb plot, Omar Abdel Rahman (the leader of the conspiracy) and Clement Rodney Hampton-El (an expert bomb maker), worshipped at Wahhaj's mosque. Wahhaj was also a character witness for Abdel Rahman at the 1995 trial against him.

What does this say about our current state of affairs, when one of the largest American corporations is willing to silence an ally and give voice to the enemy? It says that we, as a nation, are on a dangerous path that only starts with appeasement, yet ends in our destruction. If the Marriott is a test case for the future consciousness of America, then we can be assured that we will have no future.

Give the people at the specific hotel grief as well, so they can report the feedback to corporate HQ second-hand.

Soros economic symposium... We Are The World

Long-term and worsening unemployment, economic stagnation, labor revolt and a state of siege.

Those are just some of the descriptions of one country that received the kind of economic "shock therapy" crafted by Columbia professor Jeffrey Sachs, who sits on the board of an organization literally seeking to reorganize the entire global economic system.

That group is the Institute for New Economic Thinking, or INET.

Philanthropist George Soros is INET's founding sponsor, with the billionaire having provided a reported $25 million over five years to support INET activities.

This Friday, INET starts its four-day economic symposium in the mountains of Bretton Woods, N.H.

Get "The Fall Of America And The Western World," featuring more than eight hours of exclusive interviews with top experts offering their perspectives on why America and the Western World are headed for collapse.

The gathering of economic giants will take place at Mount Washington Hotel, famous for hosting the original Bretton Woods economic agreements drafted in 1944. That conference's goal was to rebuild a post-World War II international monetary system. The April gathering has a similar goal in mind – a global economic restructuring.

Reporting on last year's event, the Business Insider related, "George Soros has brought together a crack team of the world's top economists and financial thinkers."

"Its aim," continued the business newspaper, "to remake the world's economy as they see fit."

More than two-thirds of the slated speakers at this year's conference have direct ties to Soros.

One of the keynotes is Sachs, who sits in INET's advisory council.

Sachs, a special adviser to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, is founder and co-president of the Soros-funded Millennium Promise Alliance, a nonprofit organization that says it is dedicated to ending extreme poverty and hunger.

Global taxes

With $50 million in capital from Soros, Millennium promotes a global economy while urging cooperation and investment from international banks and the United Nations Development Program.

The group helped to found the United Nations Millennium Development Goal, a move that was advanced by Sachs. He served as director from 2002 to 2006.

The UN Millennium Development Goal has demanded the imposition of international taxes as part of a stated effort of "eradicating extreme poverty, reducing child mortality rates, fighting disease epidemics such as AIDS, and developing a global partnership for development."

Investor's Business Daily reported the Millennium goal called for a "currency transfer tax," a "tax on the rental value of land and natural resources," a "royalty on worldwide fossil energy projection — oil, natural gas, coal," "fees for the commercial use of the oceans, fees for airplane use of the skies, fees for use of the electromagnetic spectrum, fees on foreign exchange transactions, and a tax on the carbon content of fuels."

Indeed, last September, a group of 60 nations, including France, Britain and Japan, propose at the U.N. summit on the Millennium Development Goals that a tax be introduced on international currency transactions to raise funds for development aid.

The proposed 0.005 percent tax on currency transactions would raise as much as $35 billion a year in development aid, claimed the proponents.

'Shock therapy'

Sachs, meanwhile, is a renowned international economist best known for his work as an economic adviser to governments in Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union.

He direct's Columbia's Earth Institute, which promotes the theory of global warming.

Sachs has been a World Bank consultant who formerly directed Harvard's Institute for International Development, which he turned into a major conduit advocating for World Bank and International Monetary Funds use for structural adjustment programs in the Third World and beyond.

Sachs is engineer of a "shock treatment" economic doctrine that he has applied to other countries, most notably Bolivia and Poland. In both countries, critics charge, Sach's doctrine led to economic failure.

In 1985, Bolivia was plagued by hyperinflation and was unable to pay back its debt to the International Monetary Fund.

Sachs drew up an extensive plan for Bolivia, later known as "shock therapy," to drastically cut inflation by scrapping all subsidies, price controls, restrictions on exports, imports and private business activity.

He also called for the linking of the Bolivian economy with a more global currency, at the time the U.S. dollar.

Sachs acknowledged that a sudden shift to a market economy would initially result in huge price rises, especially in food and energy. But he has argued prices would level off as new supplies reached the market in response to the rises.

In Bolivia, the Sachs plan did beat inflation, but the price was continuing high unemployment, economic stagnation, labor revolt, a state of siege and a deepening involvement in the international drug market, reports noted.

To beat the hyperinflation under Sach's plan, Bolivia ensured a large number of workers were laid off while others' salaries were slashed, leading to widespread workers strikes.

The Bolivian government imposed a state of siege in response to a wave of strikes.

Sachs attempted a similar plan in Poland in the late 1980s, including the full convertibility of the zloty, the Polish currency, to U.S. dollars, and immediate suspension of debt repayment.

Another plan was deployed in Argentina, which has been plagued by an economic meltdown.

Looking back at Sach's effect on Poland, Jon Wiener, writing in The Nation in June 1990, charged, "Before Sachs, Poland had a problem of shortages. As soon as food and other basic goods showed up in the stores, people bought them at low, subsidized prices, so the shelves were usually empty.

"Now the shelves are full, which would seem to be evidence of prosperity. But says Marta Pretrusewicz, a Polish historian teaching at Princeton University, 'shortages don't exist anymore because prices are so outrageous people can't buy anything.'"

Stand with the unions

SALT LAKE CITY — Ralliers filled the steps of the state Capitol Saturday morning, showing support for organized labor and advancing Monday's "We Are One" events across the country that will remember the April 4, 1968, assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

Wisconsin continues to be a focal point to workers' rights issues because of a partisan effort to curb most state workers' collective-bargaining rights as a way of cutting wages. Similar actions followed Ohio and are on the legislative agenda in Florida as cash-strapped states look for ways to improve their bottom line.

In Utah, unions see threats from the Legislature, including the recently repealed HB 477, which would have limited the public's access to communications involving state lawmakers.

Jim Judd, president of the Utah AFL-CIO, said lawmakers are taking advantage of a down economy to attack the wages of the middle class. "The sad part is many of these administrators, governors and state legislators are looking at taking away a long-established process where they get together, discuss, meet and confer over issues and make decisions, in favor of governors being able to unilaterally impose their will on those employees."

The AFL-CIO said, in promoting the rally, its voice is being raised against "well-funded, right-wing corporate politicians."

A disposition among lawmakers to move their conversation farther from public view compounds the concern, Judd said. "If we lose that access, and our ability as the public to communicate with our legislators, we've got a problem."

Almost all of those attending the rally at the Capitol Saturday were also participants, who crowded the Capitol's main south steps while speakers addressed the group.

"When you look at the turnout, on a Saturday, during conference weekend, I think it speaks for itself," said Utah Education Association President Sharon Gallagher-Fishbaugh. "Today we are gathering in support of our colleagues and working middle (class) Americans across the country."

"This past legislative session, in education, we have seen attacks on our rights as an organization, as UEA, to be able to organize our teachers. We are seeing attacks on us," Gallagher-Fishbaugh said.

Jeanetta Williams, president of the Salt Lake branch of the NAACP, said Saturday's rally is a good match with civil rights initiatives that are being recognized in rallies on Monday. "The NAACP and the labor unions have always worked together. Our struggles have been identical."

Williams said Martin Luther King Jr. was in Memphis to demonstrate with sanitation workers when he was assassinated. The "We Are One" rally in Utah is a kickoff to other events around the country.

"We wanted to do it today instead of Monday. The reason why is Mondays in Utah are a little difficult, and we thought we may not be able to get the crowd out on a Monday evening as we would on a Saturday morning."

THIS is Crazy Talk Right? KNOW THINE ENEMY The Muslim Brotherhood's secret plan to 'destroy Western Civilization from within'

© 2011 WorldNetDaily

"Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."

Does that sound like the motto of nice, peaceful, non-violent, secular organization? President Obama and his national intelligence director James Clapper think so.

But contrary to the perversely rosy assessment of America's top leadership, the Muslim Brotherhood – the shadowy, transnational Islamist parent organization of al-Qaida and Hamas – is committed not only to filling the growing leadership vacuum in the Arab world, but also, through its many proxies within the U.S, to impose the Quran and Shariah law right here in America.

If that sounds too fantastic or improbable to take seriously, you will harbor no such doubts after reading the March issue of Whistleblower, "KNOW THINE ENEMY: The Muslim Brotherhood's secret plan to 'destroy Western Civilization from within.'"

Incredibly, the Muslim Brotherhood is attacking America using the exact same strategy and tactics employed so successfully by the left.

That's right. For decades, while America was furiously fighting communism overseas and struggling to neutralize the threat of nuclear war, the very same Marxist enemy was busily infiltrating America and eating away at its moral foundation like termites – subverting core institutions such as education, the news and entertainment media and even churches. As a direct result, America today increasingly resembles a European-style socialist welfare state – exactly what the Marxists had in mind all along.

Today, while America is focused on the threat of terrorist hijackers, underwear bombers and jihadist "martyrs," it is simultaneously being infiltrated and subverted by jihadists wearing coats and ties, "peacefully" insinuating themselves into our major institutions for the ultimate purpose of imposing Shariah law here. Shariah, Islam's "sacred" 7th century legal system, is best known for chopping off the limbs of shoplifters, publicly flogging people for drinking a beer, executing those who leave Islam, stoning women to death for adultery, and even – believe it or not – lashing and imprisoning women and girls who were victims of rape.

In "KNOW THINE ENEMY," Whistleblower has brought together many of the world's most knowledgeable and courageous experts on this expansionist, utopian, violent, Nazi-like threat to not only the troubled Arab world, but to the entire world, including Europe, the UK and America.

"This issue of Whistleblower is a compelling wake-up call to a preoccupied and beleaguered American citizenry," said David Kupelian, WND managing editor and Whistleblower editor. "Shariah law is already making inroads in America, from our courts to our financial establishments. We are also seeing 'honor killings' in our suburbs, jihad recruitment in our colleges and our prisons, a proliferation of mosques and Islamic schools funded with Saudi money, and dozens of subversive and dangerous Muslim groups with nice-sounding names masquerading as 'moderate, charitable and cultural' organizations. But their goal is precisely the same as that of the terrorists' – the ultimate submission of Americans to Islam."

Highlights of "KNOW THINE ENEMY" include:

* "The global Islamist revolt is here" by Joseph Farah, who pulls the veil off what we are witnessing throughout the Arab world

* "The Muslim Brotherhood's sneak attack on America" by David Kupelian, on expansionist Islam's two-front war on America and why "moderate" Shariah supremacists are more dangerous than terrorists

* Key U.S. Muslim Brotherhood front organizations, compiled by "Muslim Mafia" co-author Paul Sperry

* "Muslim straightens out U.S. intel director on Brotherhood," in which the courageous Muslim Dr. Zudhi Jasser refutes the clueless pronouncements of America's top intelligence official regarding the Islamist threat

* "The Muslim Brotherhood 'Project' for North America" by Brigitte Gabriel, on the secret 100-year plan to "establish an Islamic government on earth"

* "Don't fear the Brotherhood, says long-time member," highlighting the argument that "the West and the Muslim Brotherhood are not enemies," made by Abdel Moneim Abou el-Fotouh, part of the organization's guidance council for 25 years

* "Muslim groups accuse Congress of 'McCarthyism'" by Bob Unruh, on attacks against New York Congressman Peter King for promising to hold hearings on the threat of militant Islam in the U.S.

* "The Muslim Brotherhood is our enemy" by Frank J. Gaffney, Jr., in which the former Reagan defense official shows how the shadowy group plans to "destroy Western civilization from within"

* "The goal: Rule the world – and destroy Israel" by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik of Palestinian Media Watch, who showcase a Brotherhood leader who warns Muslims that failure to perform jihad will lead them to "spiritual death"

* "Barack and the Brotherhood" by Pamela Geller, who shows that Obama's appointments, statements, lawsuits reveal a strong and troubling affinity for Islam

* "Obama quietly builds ties with Muslim Brotherhood" by Aaron Klein, on the administration's back-door talks with a movement vowing the end of the West and the future rule of Islam

* "Soros' fingerprints on Mideast chaos" by Aaron Klein, about the billionaire leftist funding groups opposing America's allies

* "Inside the mind of the Muslim Brotherhood" by Walid Shoebat, whose Arabic translation reveals the true goals of Islamic conspiracy

* "'Moderate civil-rights group' or sinister terror front?" – an eye-opening look at why one FBI agent calls the Council on American-Islamic Relations "a turnstile for terrorists and their supporters"

* "CAIR sues Oklahoma for banning Islamic law" by Drew Zahn, on how the controversial group got a judge to strike down an anti-Shariah measure approved by 70 percent of the state's voters in November

* "The Muslim Brotherhood at CPAC" by Diana West, on "conservative Republican Muslim" Suhail Khan, who asks: "What are our oppressors going to do with a people like us?"

* "'Terror Television' in the USA" by Cliff Kincaid, on why Al-Jazeera is being called "the Muslim Brotherhood channel"

* "Obama's Muslim Brotherhood romance" by Jamie Glazov, on why leftists like Obama are mysteriously attracted to tyranny and terror

* … and much more

"Most people didn't take Hitler seriously until it was too late," said Kupelian. "In the same way, most underestimated the ability of the radical left to subvert America – after all, Reagan won the Cold War. Today, the Islamist threat, right here in America, is real and more advanced than most people comprehend. Terrorism is just the visible tip of the iceberg. 'KNOW THINE ENEMY' shows you to the rest of the iceberg."

SPECIAL OFFER: For a limited time, subscribe to Whistleblower, renew your subscription or give a gift subscription for one year and you'll get $10 off (pay $39.95 instead of the usual $49.95), plus you'll receive two free gifts:

First, you'll get the eye-opening new DVD documentary – titled, simply, "The Mosque" – that reveals the radical and treacherous background of those "moderate Muslims" behind the effort to build the giant "Ground Zero mosque" in lower Manhattan.

In this brand-new, 78-minute investigative video by WND Films and Illuminati Pictures, WND's Molotov Mitchell goes on the scene to explore what – and who – is really behind the highly unpopular mosque that many believe is meant to be a mammoth Islamic victory monument on the gravesite of 3,000 innocent Americans. (A $19.95 value, yours FREE – including shipping – as WND's gift for subscribing to Whistleblower!)

Second, you'll also receive Whistleblower's special issue titled "AMERICA THE EXCEPTIONAL: Why it's the greatest nation in human history." "'AMERICA THE EXCEPTIONAL' is the antidote to Obama and his vision of a dependant, enfeebled, American socialist utopia," said Whistleblower Editor David Kupelian. "It transports readers to the real America – the nation they loved as a child, the 'shining city on a hill' our founders gave us and the Pilgrims dreamed about and courageously pursued." (A $7.50 value – FREE!)

EVEN BETTER OFFER: Subscribe, renew or give a gift subscription for two years and you'll get a $10 discount on the already reduced two-year rate ($74.95 instead of the usual $84.95), and you'll receive three free gifts: You'll get both "The Mosque" and "AMERICA THE EXCEPTIONAL."

But in addition, you'll get the mind-boggling new book by Jack Cashill, "Deconstructing Obama: The Life, Loves, and Letters of America's First Postmodern President."

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama supporters pointed to the first of Obama's two books, "Dreams from My Father," as proof of Obama’s near-messiah status. Time magazine called it "the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician" and the Obama campaign machine encouraged volunteers to "get out the vote and keep talking to others about the genius of Barack Obama."

There was just one problem: Nothing in Obama’s history suggested he was capable of writing either "Dreams" or his 2006 book, "The Audacity of Hope." In fact, as Emmy-award-winning writer and producer Jack Cashill documents in this stunning investigative book, the real craftsman behind "Dreams" was none other than unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers.

As Cashill develops his case in "Deconstructing Obama," he delves into other, little-known writings that actually were written by Obama, like the chilling poem "Pop," which Cashill says is a "key to deciphering Obama’s shrouded past, his fragile psyche, and his uniquely cryptic political life." In unlocking that past, Cashill shows that much of Obama’s life story appears to be a wholly constructed fabrication, one that Jack Cashill "deconstructs" to show the world just who Barack Obama really is. Ahh say it is not so..U.S. trying to deport 'Son of Hamas' Feds see 'terrorist' in Christian convert who spied for Israel

The Department of Homeland Security is trying to deport the son of a Hamas founder who told of his conversion to Christianity and decade of spying for Israel in a New York Times best-seller.

"Son of Hamas" author Mosab Hassan Yousef revealed on a blog hosted by his publisher he is scheduled to appear June 30 before Immigration Judge Rico J. Bartolomei at the DHS Immigration Court in San Diego.

Yousef said the DHS informed him Feb. 23, 2009, he was barred from asylum in the U.S. because there were reasonable grounds for believing he was "a danger to the security of the United States" and "engaged in terrorist activity."

An incredulous Yousef said the U.S. government's belief he is a terrorist is based on a complete misinterpretation of passages of his book in which he describes his work as a counterterrorism agent for the Israeli internal intelligence service Shin Bet.

From the world of radical Islam to the world of the radically transformed. Order your copy of "Son of Hamas" from the WND Superstore now!

Yousef said he's not so much worried about himself as he is "outraged" about "a security system that is so primitive and naive that it endangers the lives of countless Americans."

"If Homeland Security cannot tell the difference between a terrorist and a man who spent his life fighting terrorism, how can they protect their own people?" he asked in his blog post.

Yousef said whatever Judge Bartolomei decides will be appealed, "and this insane merry-go-round can go on like that for decades."

Yousef's asylum case – A 088 271 051 – was filed Aug. 22, 2007, about seven months after he arrived in the U.S. from Israel.

The office of DHS Senior Attorney Kerri Calcador, who is handling the case, referred WND's request for comment to Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Lauren Mack, who said the agency is barred by policy from commenting, or even confirming or denying the existence of any case.

WND tried to reach Yousef for further comment, but he was not available.

As WND reported, Yousef worked alongside his father, Sheik Hassan Yousef, in the West Bank city of al-Ghaniya near Ramallah while secretly embracing Christian faith and serving as one of the top spies for Israel's internal security arm. Yousef was recruited by Shin Bet in 1996 at the age of 18 while at an Israeli detention facility.

Since publicly declaring his faith in August 2008, he has been condemned by an al-Qaida-affiliated group and disowned by his family.

Mosab Hassan Yousef in 2008 interview with Al-Hayat TV (Middle East Media Research Institute)

His chief Shin Bet handler, "Captain Loai," has confirmed his account and praised him in media interviews for disrupting dozens of suicide bombings and assassination attempts by Hamas, saving hundreds of lives.

'Material support'

Yousef said he recently received a document from DHS in which attorney Calcador pointed to passages in his book as evidence of terrorist activity.

Calcador cites a passage in which she says "a member of Shin Bet shows the respondent a list of suspects implicated in a March 2001 suicide bombing and asks the respondent whether he knows the individuals. The respondent indicates that he does know five of the people on the list and states that he previously drove them to safe houses."

In the DHS document, Calcador concludes, "At a bare minimum, evidence of the respondent's transport of Hamas members to safe houses … indicates that the respondent provided material support to a [Tier I] terrorist organization."

Yousef's response: "Is she kidding? Either Homeland Security's chief attorney has zero reading comprehension, or else she intentionally took the passage out of context. And I am not sure which is worse."

Yousef explained his job as a Shin Bet agent required him to be involved with his father's activities.

"So when he asked me to go with him to pick up these guys when they were released from the Palestinian Authority prison, I went," he said.

He insisted that no one at the time – not his father or even Israel – knew the five men were involved in suicide bombings.

He further argued he was the one who later provided Israel the evidence that connected the men to the terrorist bombing at the Hebrew University cafeteria in July 2002.

"And Homeland Security would do well to remember that there were five American citizens among the dead," Yousef said of the attack. "Apparently the agency needs also to be reminded that I was the one who located the terrorists and led to their arrest or death."

For that, he said, Homeland Security "today tells me 'thank you' by trying to deport me!"

He explained it was "part of his job" to pose as a terrorist and participate in "terrorist meetings" with Palestinian leader Yassir Arafat, his father and other Hamas leaders.

"I passed on to the Shin Bet all the information I gathered during those meetings and saved the lives of many people – including many Americans," he said.

'Exposing the weaknesses'

Yousef said his intent for writing the blog post was to alert Americans to the danger they face.

"I believe that God is using this situation to expose the weaknesses of Homeland Security and to put pressure on it to make changes that can save lives and preserve freedom," he said.
Hamas rally on 22nd anniversary in Gaza

He recalled that when he arrived in America Jan. 2, 2007, he "walked into the airport like anyone else on a tourist visa."

When he went to the Homeland Security office seven months later, he said, he knocked on the door and told them, "Hey, guys, I am the son of Sheik Hassan Yousef, my father is involved in a terrorist organization, and I would like political asylum in your country."

He said the officials were shocked.

"I wanted them to see that they have huge gaps in their security and their understanding of terrorism and make changes before it's too late," Yousef explained.

Yousef said that when DHS demanded evidence of his claims, he presented a draft of his book "Son of Hamas."

"Surely this would make everything perfectly clear," he thought. "They would discover that I was an intelligence agent, not a terrorist. That I tracked down terrorists and put them in prison. That I was an asset, not a threat."

But Homeland Security, according to Yousef, doesn't "get it."

He said the FBI, in contrast, "has a much better understanding of terrorism and recognizes me as a valuable asset."

"They told Homeland Security that I am not a threat and advised them to drop the case. But Homeland Security shut its eyes and stopped up its ears and told the FBI, 'You have nothing to do with this. It is our job,'" Yousef said.

The agency's performance, he asserted, "should worry the American people."

"If Homeland Security cannot understand a simple story like mine, how can they be trusted with bigger issues?" he asked. "They seem to know only how to blindly follow rules and procedures. But to work intelligence, you have to be very creative. You have to accept exceptions. You need to be able to think beyond facts and circumstances.

"Homeland Security has absolutely no idea of the dangers that lie ahead," he said.

'Imagine suicide bombers in America'

He warned the U.S. is not prepared as al-Qaida adapts its strategy to lessons learned from terrorist groups like Hamas.
Suicide Bomber Hits Southern Israeli Town Of Dimona

"For nearly 30 years, I watched from the inside as Hamas dug its claws deeper and deeper into Israel. They started awkwardly, clumsily, but they got good at it. And al-Qaida is becoming more like Hamas," he said.

The strategy of Hamas, Yousef explained, has always been to destroy Israel through a "slow bleeding war."

"They don't have nuclear bombs, so they send a suicide bomber here, another one there. And over the years, they severely damaged the economy and gave Israel a bad reputation all over the world," Yousef said.

While al-Qaida began with massive attacks like 9/11, Osama bin Laden "understands how effective the Hamas strategy will be on American soil," he said.

The U.S. has experienced nothing like Israel has endured, said Yousef, and the country is not ready.

"Try to imagine attacks by suicide bombers and car bombers, attacks on schools, in shopping malls, in the gridlock of rush-hour traffic, week after week, month after month, year after year, here and there, in big cities and rural towns," he said.

"No one feels safe anywhere. There seems to be no reason behind the attacks, no pattern. Everyone is a target."

Having been raised on the inside of this kind of environment, from both sides, he said he is only asking Homeland Security "to be humble and listen, so they can learn."

"Exposing terrorist secrets and warning the world in my first book cost me everything," he said. "I am a traitor to my people, disowned by my family, a man without a country. And now the country I came to for sanctuary is turning its back."

Karl Marx, Jay Rockefeller- Marx and the NFL

Here's an idea Mr Rockefeller-Marx, why don't you open your books to the public. Not just your personal holdings but your family's holdings..Only in a state like WV could men like yourself and Robert -KKK- Byrd be elected. Your a joke and an embarrassment to the American way of life. The last time I looked at that little thing called the Constitution, I did not see Congressional over site of sporting and games as part of the interstate commerce clause. That's ok, like 65% of the people that vote for you, read-in is not some-in you do's well!

Jay, here's another thought.. Why don't you track the stimulus billions that are missing. Why not spend some time finding ways to stream line congressional financial regulations on small business. Maybe you could find time stop the billions bleeding From Freddie and Fanny? No forget about it, Just keep worrying about a private business like the NFL !

WASHINGTON -- The chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee is urging NFL owners to open their financial books to the players union, arguing that will help resolve a labor dispute that is threatening next season's games.

"Reluctantly, I have come to the conclusion that the only way to sort out this stalemate is for the owners and the league to answer the biggest sticking point: money," Sen. Jay Rockefeller wrote in a Washington Post opinion column on Friday. "What I'd like to see from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the owners is a simple display of good faith: Show the union your books. Don't keep secrets. If there are financial pressures that keep you from agreeing to the revenue-sharing plan proposed by the players, let's see the proof."

Rockefeller, D-W.Va., suggested that a neutral third party review the financial data, remove anything sensitive and prepare an assessment of the league's finances.

The NFL declined to comment on Rockefeller's suggestion, citing a request by federal mediator George Cohen that the two sides not discuss negotiations while they're in mediation. Those negotiations are scheduled to resume Tuesday.

The league has previously said that the players union, which has made similar demands, already has access to all relevant financial information.

The biggest sticking point between the two sides is how to divide about $9 billion in annual revenues. The current collective bargaining agreement expires next Thursday, and the union has said it expects a lockout to come as soon as the following day.

The NFL hasn't argued that it's losing money, only that it needs to keep a bigger share to finance costs like stadium construction.

Rockefeller acknowledged that "some owners make significant investments while managing a professional sports team and I don't want to play down their long-term expenses and obligations. But the players deserve a good-faith effort to demonstrate that these expenses are real and not just an excuse."

He said that so far, he's kept a "hands-off" approach to the negotiations, aside from conversations on the status of the talks.

But he also said that Congress, "acting in the public interest, has to keep the NFL on track because of the great benefits given to the league by federal law and taxpayer funds and because of its impact on the nation's economy."

One key benefit that the NFL enjoys -- along with other professional sports -- is an antitrust exemption for broadcasting contracts. That exemption, which allows the NFL to sign TV contracts on behalf of all teams, helped to transform the league into the economic powerhouse it is today.

As to what the committee will do if the NFL doesn't provide the information, Rockefeller spokesman Vince Morris said that the senator is keeping all options open but is mainly focused on encouraging the two sides to sort this out themselves.

Gary Roberts, dean of Indiana University Law School in Indianapolis and an expert on sports, antitrust and labor law, said that whether an employer is required to open its books depends on what it argues during the collective bargaining process.

"If owners make representations that they're losing money or that they can't afford a certain term in the collective bargaining agreement, then they're obligated to prove their assertion," he said.

The problem is This Joe was Right! Muslims accuse Congress of McCarthyism But Boehner suggests hearings will be run as Rep. King

By Bob Unruh

Rep. Pete King

Rejecting accusations that proposed congressional hearings on the threat of domestic Islamic terrorism represent a new generation of McCarthyism, U.S. House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, will allow the hearings to be run as committee chairman Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., wants, a spokesman told WND today.

King, chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security in the House, wants to conduct hearings this month on the "radicalization of the American Muslim community and homegrown terrorism."

But a letter last week from several dozen mostly Muslim organizations condemned the idea of hearings to investigate the Times Square bombing attempt and the Fort Hood shootings.

The infiltrators have been infiltrated. 'Muslim Mafia' exposes the secret underworld conspiring to Islamize America

"Muslims serve our nation as teachers, business owners, factory workers, cab drivers, doctors, lawyers, law enforcement, firefighters, members of Congress, and members of the armed forces,"

said the letter addressed to Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

McCarthy's Senate hearings at the outset of the Cold War focused on rooting out communists from the U.S. government ranks.

"That dark chapter in our history taught us that Congress has a solemn duty to wield its investigatory power responsibly," the letter warned.

Contacted by WND today, however, a spokesman in Boehner's office indicated the majority leader will not attempt to direct a responsibility that now belongs to King.

King has criticized the Obama administration for not addressing more seriously the threat of domestic terrorism.

He's also suggested that leaders in the Muslim community haven't been jumping forward with cooperation. King said he's not trying to target the Muslim community, but instead wants to look at the facts of current cases.

"It's the fact that there's a real threat coming from this attempted radicalization of the community, and it's in many ways coming from overseas," he told Politico earlier.

The letter was signed by representatives for the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, the Arab American Institute, Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, Council on American-Islamic Relations, Islamic Medical Association of North America, Islamic Networks Group, Islamic Society of North America, Muslim Advocates, Muslim Public Affairs Council, the Open Society Institute, Association of American Muslim Lawyers, American Muslim Law Enforcement Officers Association and dozens more.

"If Chairman King wishes to address violent extremism, then we hope you will ensure that he examines violence motivated by extremist beliefs, in all its forms, in a full, fair and objective way," the letter said.

"Providing a public, government platform for these erroneous and offensive views has consequences," the letter warned. "The American public takes cues from government officials. These hearings will almost certainly increase widespread suspicion and mistrust of the American Muslim community and stoke anti-Muslim sentiment."

The letter argued others around the world will note the U.S. government's actions.

"A hearing that demonizes the American Muslim community will not go unnoticed by Muslims around the world and will contribute to perceptions of how the U.S. government treats Muslims," the letter said.

King told Politico the letter didn't need an answer.

"I am too busy preparing for the hearings," he said.

"They contribute to every aspect of our nation's economy and society. The essence of our country is e plurubus unum: out of many, practicing their faith freely and contributing each in their own way, comes a strong, unified one.

"The hearings planned by Chairman King, however, are inconsistent with this vision of America. Singling out a group of Americans for government scrutiny based on their faith is divisive and wrong. These hearings will inevitably examine activities protected by the First Amendment, an affront to fundamental freedoms upon which our country was founded. It harkens back to hearings held in the 1950s by then-U.S. Sen. Joe McCarthy," the letter said.

Crazy Talk? Maybe not?

Virginia Delegate Robert G. Marshall

WASHINGTON – Virginia state Delegate Robert G. Marshall has introduced legislation to study whether the Commonwealth should make the preparations now to switch suddenly to an alternative currency in the event of an implosion of the Federal Reserve System and the destruction of the dollar.

House Joint Resolution 557 is another piece of a growing movement among state legislators who are concerned about the dollar's demise. Ten states have considered similar bills, recommending a return to some form of a commodity-based currency, using either silver or gold.

How to fight socialism? The prescription is Joseph Farah's "Taking America Back"

Marshall's Resolution 557 offers a list of worst-case scenarios to support the need for such a study, including:

* "Many widely recognized experts predict the inevitable destruction of the Federal Reserve System's currency through hyperinflation in the foreseeable future.

* "In the event of hyperinflation, depression, or other economic calamity related to the breakdown of the Federal Reserve System, for which the Commonwealth is not prepared, the Commonwealth's governmental finances and Virginia's private economy will be thrown into chaos…"

* To avoid economic, social and political shocks Virginia can adopt an "alternative sound currency that the Commonwealth's government and citizens may employ without delay in the event of the destruction of the Federal Reserve System's currency."

"Inevitable destruction," "economic calamity" and "chaos" are not words used lightly when considering the fate of the nation's currency.

Marshall chose them for good reason and tells WND, "I read the financial pages and I see the coverup that the Obama administration is engaging in, eliminating the cost of food and energy from CPI to fool the public (about the rate of inflation), and the fact that China is seeking to become an international currency and Russia, Japan, Saudi Arabia and China have all met to discuss this possibility."

Is Chris Christie Naive About Radical Islam — or Lying?

New Jersey governor Chris Christie’s conservative credentials as a budget-buster have been legend, but now there is a dark cloud over him that should end all discussions of his “future career” in national office. Christie’s ties to radical Islamists are so troubling, they should be investigated by a grand jury.

Here is my report on Christie’s recent actions to appoint a sharia-law Muslim attorney to a judgeship in New Jersey. That person’s background and connections are linked to Al Qaida and its sympathizer/fundraisers. This is a deal-breaker.

Steven Emerson of the Investigative Project on Terrorism has more background on Christie’s Muslim cronies and concludes:

“Christie’s support for Islamists such as Qatanani and Mohammed betrays either naivete or calculation. Either is troubling.”

Here’s a small excerpt of Emerson’s report. Read it all here. Chris Christie has much answering to do. He cannot overcome this.

“New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s nomination of Sohail Mohammed to be a state judge shows the governor’s tin ear for radical Islam. Not only did he appoint a longtime mouthpiece for radical Islamists to be a judge, but Christie has also turned a blind eye to the activities of one of Mohammed’s clients – radical imam Mohammed Qatanani, head of one of New Jersey’s largest mosques.

Qatanani has a history of Hamas support and was related by marriage to a leading Hamas operative in the West Bank. This fall, Qatanani will return to a New Jersey immigration court, where the Department of Homeland Security is fighting to have him deported. In his initial application for a green card filed in 1999, government lawyers say Qatanani failed to disclose a conviction in an Israeli military court for being a Hamas member and providing support to the terrorist group.

Oddly, Christie – a Republican who was then the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey – sided with Qatanani against DHS, allowing a top lieutenant, Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles McKenna, to testify as a character witness at Qatanani’s first immigration trial, and publicly embracing the imam at a Ramadan breakfast at his mosque. Christie later appointed McKenna as New Jersey’s head of homeland security..

As general counsel to the American Muslim Union (AMU), Mohammed often represented clients subject to government allegations concerning terrorists. The AMU often is highly critical of U.S. counter-terrorism efforts.

One online newsletter even included a claim that a “Zionist commando orchestrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks” and shows support for a “Rabbi” from the extremist Jewish organization Neturei Karta, which denies the right of Israel to exist and supports its dismantling.”

How Republican House can dry up red ink with 1 vote New petition campaign calls for GOP unity against raising debt limit

© 2011 WorldNetDaily

House Speaker John Boehner

WASHINGTON – A new grass-roots campaign is underway to stop deficit spending this year by demanding the Republican majority in the House of Representatives simply say "no" to raising the debt limit.

Every Congress must affirmatively vote to raise the debt limit or the federal government is forced to live within its means rather than borrow to meet expenditures. Since Republicans gained control of the House in November, they have complete power to say no, and there's nothing the Senate or White House can do about it.

A new petition campaign directed exclusively to House Republicans calls on them not to bargain away this "nuclear option – stopping any further deficit spending for the next two years."

"The House Republican majority has the power to impose the most dramatic cuts in the federal budget in decades, halting all new spending by Barack Obama and the Senate and significantly reducing the national debt by simply voting in a few weeks to oppose raising the debt limit," says Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND and the architect of a plan to persuade GOP representatives to unify around the idea.

While some in the House leadership are already suggesting they will support raising the debt limit in March in exchange for the promise of budget cuts by Democrats, Farah says that strategy surrenders the power of Republicans alone to force a balanced budget this year. Since the debt limit cannot be raised without the approval of both houses of Congress, Republicans hold all the cards they need to stop the borrowing and the deficit spending immediately, Farah says.

"Few are recognizing what an opportunity the House Republicans have to force Washington to downsize," says Farah. "If Republicans in the House unite around this idea, there is nothing the White House or the Senate can do to exceed the debt limit. This is a golden opportunity for real change in policy that must not be frittered away in favor of deals with the Democrats."

Republicans have a comfortable majority in the House with 242 votes. Only 218 are needed to maintain the debt limit.

"It makes no sense for Republicans to bargain for budget cuts that Democrats themselves will be forced to implement if the debt limit is not raised in the first place," he says. "By definition, a vote to raise the debt limit permits the Democrats to spend more money than Washington collects. Republicans will, in effect, give Democrats license to keep overspending and increasing debt by approving a debt limit increase."

On the other hand, Farah says, all Republicans in the House have to do to force Democrats to cut spending radically for the first time in decades is to stick together in opposing a hike in the debt limit.

"They don't even have to get 100 percent of Republican votes to start shrinking the budget," he points out. "Only 218 are needed. And at least one Democrat, Rep. Anthony Weiner of New York, has already hinted he will vote to oppose raising the debt limit. More are likely to follow if Republican leadership recognizes the power it has."

Sens. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., and Pat Toomey, R-Pa., are already on record as opposing an increase in the debt limit. Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., has also advocated the plan.

"There is a lot of pressure on House Republicans to simply negotiate a deal with the Democrats on budget cuts or a balanced budget in exchange for a vote to raise the debt limit," said Farah. "To me it makes no sense. Republicans, by merely voting as a bloc in the House alone, can force bigger cuts in the budget than they will ever get in any deal with Democrats. Why would they trade that 'nuclear option'? Republicans in the House hold all the cards. This is what they were elected to do last November – for a time such as this."

Farah urges Americans to sign the petition to the House Republicans in droves. He will follow up the petition shortly with a massive mailing campaign targeting all 242 Republican House members.

"We've got to get their attention right now," he said. "We have only weeks to ensure they get the message. Voting to raise the debt limit will be voting for business as usual. It will give Democrats and Obama license to keep spending, to enact Obamacare, to keep bailing out the wealthy and to ensure the economic train wreck is bigger and worse than we can imagine. Opposing the raising of the debt limit represents the first major step back from the economic brink for America."

Sign the petition to 242 Republican members of the House now.

Palin on Blowback From 'Blood Libel' Comment: They Can't Make Us Shut Up

Sarah Palin said Monday night that she used the term "blood libel" to describe false claims made against outspoken conservatives like herself who were accused of having blood on their hands in the aftermath of the deadly shootings in Arizona.

Palin was criticized by some Jewish groups for employing the highly charged words that historically have referred to a false rationalization for anti-Semitism -- that Jews used Christian blood in some rituals.

"I think the critics again were using anything that they could gather out of that statement," Palin said on the Fox News Channel's "Hannity" show. "You can spin up anything out of anybody's statements that are released and use them against the person who is making the statement." Palin made the "blood libel" remark in a video that she put out to defend herself and other conservatives against claims that their inflammatory rhetoric -- and in her case, a map showing targeted Democratic congressional districts in cross-hairs -- contributed to the shooting rampage that left six dead in Tucson last week.

"They can't make us sit down and shut up," she said.

Assassin's politics lean 'left wing, quite liberal' 'Communist Manifesto,' 'Mein Kampf,' listed as alleged gunman's favorite

"The Communist Manifesto" and Hitler's "Mein Kampf" were among the favorite reading materials of Jared Lee Loughner, the suspected gunmen in today's fatal shooting that reportedly left six dead and gravely injured a U.S. congresswoman.

Lougher, 22, listed those tomes among his favorites on his YouTube channel, in which he wrote that "conscience dreams" were a "great study" at his college, Pima Community College.

One user on Twitter, Caitie Parker, wrote she went to high school, college and was in a band with the gunman. She said she hadn't seen him since 2007.

Parker wrote of Lougher, "As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal and oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy."

She also described him as "more left."

Lougher also left a trail of bold political statements.

On his now deleted MySpace page, Lougher wrote a series of disjointed rants, including:

* "If there's no flag in the Constitution, then the flag in the film is unknown. There's no flag in the Constitution. Therefore, the flag in the film is unknown. Burn every new and old flag that you see. Burn your flag!"

* "I bet you can imagine this in your mind with a faster speed. Watch this protest in reverse! Ask the local police, 'What's your illegal activity on duty?'"

* "If you protest the government, then there's a new government from protesting. There's not a new government from protesting. Thus, you aren't protesting the government."

Three months ago, Lougher made a YouTube video in which he proclaimed, "I know you're illiterate! This is the greatest protest for exposure into a wrongful act. The school is breaking the Constitution. If you watch the video then you'll understand. The teachers are taking advantage of you in the First and Fifth Amendment. The United States Constitution, which is the law, can be broken at this school."

Religion of peace' launching 'ferocious' attacks Worshippers targeted in Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, Russia Read more: 'Religion of peace' launching 'feroc

2011 WorldNetDaily

It was only six days after the 9/11 attacks that President Bush described Islam as a religion of peace, specifically saying, "Islam is peace," but the Religion of Peace website reports that for 2010, there were 1987 jihad attacks in 46 nations resulting in 9,175 deaths and 17,436 injured, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.

So analysts are expressing alarm that individual attacks on Christian churches are being replicated rapidly and appear to be reflecting a new wave of Islamists' war against any stability in the Middle East.

Recent al-Qaida attacks on Christians stretching from North Africa to the Middle East and Central Asia reveal a new terrorist initiative that not only attempts to eliminate remnants of existing non-Islamist religions but hits hard at "soft target" opportunities, such as praying Christians in Egypt, leaving security experts off-guard.

Analysts say the orchestrated attacks against Christians – from Egypt, Iraq and Nigeria to Russia's mostly Muslim North Caucasus of the Ingushetia region bordering Chechnya – initially were thought to be random.

However, the killing spree now is being viewed as a coordinated pattern of attacks representing a new and higher level of violence.

The Vatican had been expressing alarm for some time, with Pope Benedict XVI describing as "ferocious" the terrorist acts that were launched in October when some 58 Iraqis were killed and 78 wounded in an attack on the Syrian Catholic Cathedral of Baghdad.

The October attacks were an act of "unheard-of ferocity against defenseless people joined in prayer," said senior Vatican official Archbishop Carlo Marina Vigano at a recent general assembly meeting of Interpol in Doha, Qatar. Interpol, or the International Criminal Police Organization, helps facilitate police cooperation internationally.

The attack on the cathedral was followed by further attacks by al-Qaida-affiliated groups that struck in a coordinated effort on three Christian homes in the Iraqi capital, followed by mortar attacks on another two largely Christian communities.

The latest violence against Christians occurred last week in Alexandria, Egypt, on the Coptic Christian church where a suicide bomber killed 21 people and wounded another 80. Some 1,000 Christians were attending New Year's Mass.

According to observers, blood splattered the front of the church, as well as a mosque directly across the street. Many of the bodies were left in the church overnight to be collected by ambulances for burial the next day. Some Christians brought white sheets with the sign of the cross emblazoned on them in what appeared to be victims' blood.

"There were only three soldiers and an officer in front of the church," said Archbishop Raweis, the top Coptic cleric in Alexandria. "Why did they have so little security at such a sensitive time when there's so many threats coming from al-Qaida?"

Outraged Christians immediately blamed the predominantly Muslim government of Egypt which has seen growing tensions for some time between its Muslim majority and Christian minority.
